Billy Cobham, born May 16 1944 in Panama, is one of the world's better & virtually all influential drummers, best known for his jazz fusion in the 1970s, by using John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra, where he pioneered the right style of drumming by having rock and funk influences.

He is the number one drummer to unseat Buddy Rich in the Downbeat music polls.

Cobham has played & recorded by owning hundreds of top musicians, including Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Larry Coryell, and Horace Silver; and is noted for his explosive, convenient, outstanding swimming.

He has been sampled, virtually all famously by Massive Attack in their tune "Safe from Harm", centred on the beat & bassline of Cobham's "Stratus", from either his debut album Spectrum.

Before his emergence by having a Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cobham worked sustaining Horace Silver inside 1968, so by using Miles Davis, in classic recordings prefer Bitches Brew, Survive-Evil & The Tribute to Jack Johnson. A prolusiin to his act by owning a Mahavishnu Orchestra was his function on John McLaughlin's album ''Our Goal's Beyond. Cobham toured extensively from either 1971 to 1973 using a Mahavishnu Orchestra, world health organization freed ii studio albums & of these survive album. A original studio versions of tunes on the survive album were down the road freed when A Wasted Trident Sessions within 1999. Within Could 1973, when however sustaining a Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cobham recorded his number one solo album Spectrum'', by owning musicians including Jan Hammer, from a Mahavishnu Orchestra, & Tommy Bolin, a rock/blues guitar player world health organization late played sustaining large rock band Deep Purple. Upright prior to a Mahavishnu Orchestra's go touring leg, within late 1973, Cobham recorded & toured with Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin, in concerts which featured poop from either their album Love Devotion Surrender, & Cobham's have lesson. A second interesting note,is that within 1980, he too worked sustaining Jack Bruce. This band was under a title, Jack Bruce & Friends.
